RULES
1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions which can be found at http://www.capitalfm.com/terms-conditions/competition/ (the “ Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions apply to ‘Why Him’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from 14th December 2016 to 22nd December 2016 on Capital (the “Radio Station”).
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

Details of the Competition:
3. To enter the competition an entrant must go online to https://www.capitalfm.com and register their details. They must then submit an awkward family moment to complete their entry, in no more than 300 characters. Online entry will open from 00.01 on Wednesday 14th Dec and close at 16.00 on Thursday 22nd Dec.
4. From all correct and valid entries 2 entrants will be selected on each day of the competition.
5. There will be 2 entrants selected at the following times:
6. Draw 1: Entries between 00.01 on Wednesday 14th Dec and 16.00 on Monday 19th Dec
7. Draw 2: Entries between 16.01 on Monday 19th Dec and 16.00 on Tuesday 20th Dec
8. Draw 3: Entries between 16.01 on Tuesday 20th Dec and 16.00 on Wednesday 21st Dec
9. Draw 4: Entries between 16.01 on Wednesday 21st Dec and 16.00 on Thursday 22nd Dec
10. Each chosen entry will be selected by a team of judges from Global Radio based on the following criteria & their decision is final;
10.1. Most memorable.
10.2. Most plausible.
10.3. Most entertaining
11. Shortlisted entrants will be notified via phone call on these dates:
11.1. Monday 19th December 2016
11.2. Tuesday 20th December 2016
11.3. Wednesday 21st December 2016
11.4. Thursday 22nd December 2016
12. Entrants must be available for a phone call on the above days between 17.00-22.00 hours. If they do not answer the phone for any reason or are unable to talk andother entrant will be selected.
13. Each entrant will be taken to air after each daily draw has closed between 1900-2200 hours.
14. Once on air, both entrants will be asked to pitch their awkward family story in 3 words. The presenter(s) on air will decide based on their answer, which story they want to hear, as per the criteria above. The entrant whose story is chosen will tell their story on air and be deemed the winner.
15. By submitting a story to the site https://www.capitalfm.com you: (i) warrant that you control all copyright and all other rights (including, without limitation, performers’ rights) in and to such story; and (ii) confirm the grant by you to the Radio Station [and Global Radio] of a worldwide, perpetual, royalty free licence in the copyright and all other rights in and to the story (including, without limitation, performers’ rights) and you waive any moral rights and like rights you have in relation to the video; so that the Radio Station [and Global Radio] shall be entitled to use the video in any and all media at no cost to the Radio Station [and Global Radio] and such use shall not infringe the rights of any third party.

Eligibility:
16. Entrants must be aged 18 and over
17. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.

Prize:
18. A romantic break for two people including:
- Return travel for two people to Dormy House

- 2 nights accommodation at Dormy House

- Champagne and chocolates

- Breakfast for two people in the hotel restaurant

- Dinner for two people at the Potting Shed restaurant

- Massage for two people at the in-house spa

19. Prize Terms and Conditions:
• Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the organiser and excludes Christmas, New Year, Valentines, Easter, School Holidays and Bank Holidays. Travel will be in the form of petrol allowance due to the nature of the location. Should the winner not drive, alternative transportation arrangements will be made using public transport where possible.

• Transfers will be private and not shared with other passengers.

• Hotel is classed as a 4 Star and is based on two sharing a twin or double room (winner’s choice) with ensuite bathroom on a bed and breakfast
basis.

• Champagne and chocolates will be in your room on arrival. Alcohol will
only be served to over 18’s only.

• Based on two adults enjoying a 3 course meal from the set menu.

• Massage will last approximately 30 minutes and is subject to availability.

• All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12
months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.

20. Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.
