When to start looking?

I am fed up of my job and plan to go back to full time work next September when my child starts secondary school.
I'd like to ideally start full time as close to September as possible so when is a good time to start applying?
I'm thinking adds might go up for a month then interviewing for a couple of weeks then a notice period so maybe June?

I would start looking gently before then, at least keeping an eye out so you know how many jobs are out there that you like and how often they come up - the perfect job may be advertised and you decide it would be worth starting a bit early, or asking if you could delay starting. But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.
