Recently I've seen quite a few Twitter comps which say 'Retweet using #TheoGiveaway (or insert own hashtag there) I usually retweet then reply with the specific hashtag asked for.
Is that the correct thing to do?

Yes that is correct but some people also like to add something extra like "great prize thank you" etc"And may the odds be ever in your favor."

I thought if the original tweet has the hash tag then retweeting would count as tweeting the hash tag?Good things come to those who wait!0

I just press the retweet button, have I been doing it wrong?!2022 wins: PS5 bundle, SSD drive, luxury truffles

I do both just in case
- I wasn't 100% sure if I needed to, hence why I'm asking :P

Well I have had 1 twitter win and I only press retweet so I think that's the correct way to do it, no harm in tweeting again, although might make your entry void as you have entered twice?Good things come to those who wait!0
