Advice on a win

So I recently returned to comping and had my first win...or so I thought.
I entered the Visit Leicester 12 days of Christmas below, and got told I'd won the £250 Lanes Fine Jewellery voucher

I thought great I could give this to the missus for Xmas and get in the real good books!
I picked up the voucher at the weekend and went to have a quick look in the shop. In the window were rings ranging from £2k to £6k and all sorts of other ridiculously priced stuff. I went in and asked if they had anything close to £250, (the cheapest I saw were some tiny diamond studs at £665).
They went out the back and brought out a really small diamond pendant at £375, which they said they'd do 20% off so with the voucher I'd pay £50. I declined and went on my way.
Now, I've had so called 'wins' before that were a voucher towards something. But this seems like a real competition and the other prizes you can actually get things.
So am I being ungrateful here? Should I contact the organiser and ask for a different prize, or should I just carry on my way?

Nothing to lose by asking but the prize is as stated.0

Your best bet would probably be to try and sell it for £200?
Double check the terms though0 -
It seems as though all the other prizes listed are actual prizes, whereas what you've been given is almost certainly a discount, given that there is nothing available in the price bracket!
I'd be tempted to email the competition provider and ask if it's possible to substitute for an alternative prize, given that the one they've awarded you is pretty useless!0
