Mortgage Offer!

Wow! well I've been refreshing the Natwest tracker more than my work email over the past few days!

Accepted DIP 16/11/2016
Full application put through 02/12/2016
Valuation instructed 06/12/2016
Valuation completed 08/12/2016
Offer instructed 12/12/2016

Just waiting for our letter in the post which we should have within 5 days! I'm so shocked at how quick and simple the whole process has been. Until about 3 years ago I didn't have very good credit at all so I was convinced we would not get a mortgage. Absolutely over the moon! now just to wait until the house is built which should be June!

I think the natwest staff are sat twidling their thumbs at the minute. I had an offer for a purchase issued in 3 days last week.

If you used a broker, your broker will have a copy of the offer to email you by the end of the day. If not you should get it by Wednesday all being well.

  • Anyone had any experience if the mortgage offer runs out? the house is due to complete 02/06/17 but our offer runs out 12/06/2017 so pretty tight I feel. The roof is now on and the house is currently at first fix stage so I'm hoping theres no delays but it's nice to be prepared.
