Just wondering, on Facebook comps where you need to share, do you need to share publicly or can it be just among your friends? I have only been sharing to my friend group where all friends are compers so I don't clog my real friends news feed! But does this still count as a share?

Although asking for shares is against Facebook terms, many competitions get away with asking for shares. Shares must be shared publicly or the competition host cannot see your entry and it wont be counted.Thank you to everyone who posts competitions and good luck to everyone who enters.0

Oh damn it I have only shared to friendsee all this time! No wonder I haven't had a Facebook win lol! Yeah a lot of Facebook pages do ask for a share for your entry to count though which is a shame.Good things come to those who wait!0

I've won several comps where shares have been compulsary and I never share. Clearly some companies don't check. So don't feel you have to!I just enter and forget...hoping to win something!
