Uxbridge parking

Is there anywhere in Uxbridge cheaper to park for a few hours than the ridiculous Intu car park? Catching the tube to take some kids to Hyde Park xmas market.

Does it have to be Uxbridge? carry on the A 40 a bit to Hiilingdon, tube car park £2 on Sat and £1.50 on Sundays. LINK

It may be too late for you now if you're making the trip today but when I went to Wembley on a Sunday earlier in the year we parked free in Harefield Road (outside the Uxbridge Conservative Club), a short walk from the tube station.

There's lots of free parking on the street in the area between Ickenham and West Ruislip stations (just not on Ickenham high street). Easy walk to either of those two stations.

Hillingdon station car park sounds good, but I suppose it fills up early with commuters.
