Hi all
Back in 2006 me and my wife remortgage, this was done though mortgage saving centre (MSC)
I'm told that the company is no longer trading,
I have paperwork from MSC and the policy company (commitments)
I've not got a clue if I can claim, if so the process that I need to take, any advice would be great,
Also I was self employed when it was sold to me
Thanks Simon

I will assume you mean complain rather than claim. Also I was self employed when it was sold to me
irrelevant with most MPPI. That reason tends to work on lower quality loan and credit card PPI. Most MPPI covers the self employed fine.I've not got a clue if I can claim, if so the process that I need to take, any advice would be great,
If you cant think of a reason for complaint then it probably means you do not have one. The PPI issue is mainly a bank and credit card provider issue. Advisers & mortgage brokers have a very low complaint rate and most of those are rejected. In the case of the FSCS, i read that they only uphold around 5% of complaints against mortgage brokers. I suspect most of those would be single premium MPPI rather than monthly premium MPPI (which is how PPI should be set up).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
