    Viola lass yes it is but I really don't want to go back on wgat we agreed even though I know they wouldnt mind. I think if the others arent paid off as quickly as I anticipate then I may re negotiate to a cheaper repayment.

    I understand that. I'm just going to say that if I were the other person, I wouldn't be happy that you were prioritising repaying my gift since it is costing you hundreds of pounds a year to do so. I would feel that that was negating the point of the gift.

    I have lent family money and insisted on payment holidays whenever I knew things were tight for them. It's always worked out OK.
  • I'm not sure on rates but I did check them befire and are all similar and high. Except the loan that is interest free. I see wgat you're saying re: focusing on the highest ones. But I want to focus on the highest monthly amount to free up the monthlycash. My car loan should be gone by Feb. The credit card by March then I will focus on the overdraft.
