Thirntons truffles?

Before I make a long trek all the way to thorntons, do they still sell those single boxed truffles? Usually 4 for £3 or so, they used to do little Christmas puddings, but dropped them last year, and sold tiny yule logs.

The web site is well nigh useless, and by the time they open to 'phone it will be too late to risk the Hell that is Saturady shopping
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

(except air quality and Medical Science ;))

No idea, but I do know that DIY truffle making is v simple, and economical too.

After I journeyed long and far, I discovered that they don't have any this year.

I wanted to give them as small token presents, They are easy enough to make, but then you need £500 of decorative tat to make them look "right"

May I direct you to Poundland? I usually get 20 decorated cellophane bags and ties in a pack, a bit of gold ribbon and the jobs done. Not huge, but then a big bag of anything devalues the gift in the recipients eyes. Small looks more "boutique" and exclusive. You can also get hold of silicone moulds there too.

Looking forward to making my Christmas chocolates next week :) :xmastree:
