The last time I sent them a letter was on the 17th November this year.
It was signed for by a HBOS signature the following day.
I don't deal with creditor on the phone due to mental health problems.
I've never had any response from the bank to either this letter or to the one I sent on the 8th August.0 -
Like I said I won't deal with creditors on the phone.
Its better to do things in written as you have written evidence.

Letters don't mean much if they're not answered.
What harm would it do to call and ask for an update?

I've been in communication with a solicitor who speacilises in credit agreements.
Because of the amount of errors in the agreement, the agreement itself could have been improperly executed by the bank.
This means that the debt cannot be passed onto a DCA or the bank cannot make a claim without the bank first having to go to court to ask for changes in the agreement under s127 of the consumer credit act.0 -

You can communicate with a solicitor but not the lender?
You're making this so much more difficult than it needs to be.0 -
If you applied online surely it's the details you put in that are incorrect ?.

I think the only answers the gentleman wants to hear are those telling him the agreement is invalid and he no longer has to pay it off...
And of course compensation if possible...:cool::cool:0
