We have submitted our FTB H2B mortgage application to Natwest through an IFA, the H2B people have confirmed we are fine to have the equity loan, Natwest tracker has ticks next to the first stage that says they have confirmed the solicitors details, checked our paperwork and don't require anything further and the valuation was also booked for yesterday.
On my Equifax report there are 3 entries from NatWest;
Credit Search (16/11/16)
Subsequent credit search (02/12/16)
Identity Check (08/12/2016)
Do those searches suggest a full credit check has been done, they were happy enough and now we are just relying on the valuation results??
As it is with every one it's a nervous time, my other half has great credit where as I have not until the last 3 years and I don't want to ruin the dream of owning our own place for the both of us!

the offer will usually come after the valuation, no speculation will change this. It is standard procedure to have a credit search on full application and does not indicate success."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Thanks, Yes I understand it's standard procedure, maybe I didn't word my OP correctly. Does the 'Type' of search indicate that a full search has been carried out. I'm just wondering if there is a difference in the description of a soft or full search.0

in your case might be more promising if they have instructed valuation and hence more likely chance of success pending the valuation"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
