The date I wanted was available but by the time I put in credit card details and the site crashed twice it was gone.
Ah well.

Will stay somewhere else then

come on peeps, lets not be sarky with eachother, we are all trying to get the rooms. this is the 4th time i have tried to get a £1 room and finally have managed so keep trying and if you are waiting for email, check your junk mail, cos thats where mine was

we got to the reserve bit and couldnt get passed it, but checked emails and had got a confirmation that we had got the room so if this happens to you check your emails and it might be the same as ours

Confirmation email came whilst the final page is loading, system is slow to update your webpage but email server is on the ball.

Well even if you don't get a £1 room, for £29 before christmas for shopping together with megabus if you can it is a cheap break.

I've booked 2. I only intended to book the one. I had a second page open with a second choice date. Can I call up and cancel the second date, or will both of my bookings be cancelled?
