    Yeah, don't disagree with you. I guess mine was less complicated, just self employment.

    I found my broker on MSE actually, quite helpful and competitively priced.

    Why wouldn't you use your savings rather than incur unnecessary overdraft fees. Lenders will naturally take the cautious view.

    I was only going to be in my OD and credit card for a month, and knew it would clear with my first pay- so I didn't want to tap into my savings for such a short time period.
