I'm wanting to apply for a loan and would like to increase my chances as much as possible but am confused regarding my current living situation.
I reside in a privately owned flat in London, which is owned by my legal guardians. I am 32 years old and live in the flat on my own, for which my guardians do not charge me rent and do not reside in the flat with me.
Which category would I fall under for my loan application - living with parents or owner with no mortgage? or another?

Is the flat held in a trust for you or does it belong to your guardians entirely?0

I've come across this before with tick box applications - they never allow for the unusual, and you don't know which box to tick. If the flate will come to you at the end of the guardianship, then phone the finance company and explain the situation. If you will never own the flat, then I guess you will have to tick 'tenant', but still worth phoning. If you have a lifetime tenancy with no rent then I expect you will be a better bet than a tenant with little security of tenure.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0
