Just a quick heads up.
I sent for some American Golf voucher to go towards a Christmas present, They arrived today and apparently they have to be activated in a branch beforehand and as I don't live anywhere near a branch and don't drive, it will mean 2 buses and a train and probably take me a day there and back

I'm having quite a bit of trouble with Consumer Pulse at the moment; having updated their website they've messed up my points (I'm sure they've taken too many off) and despite many emails from me don't seem to be putting it right.
Also I redeemed a book token voucher thinking it would be a paper one (like you I was going to give as a gift) but it is a gift voucher (plastic type) and on the back says has to be validated. I phoned them and they say it does have the money on it and they will just have to scratch off the PIN but I'm dubious as there's no receipt with it like there is when you buy one in store and it just looks blank as it's still stuck to the card. Now after reading your post I'm even more suspicious.
Sorry for waffling, I wonder if anyone is having so much hassle with them.0
