Freezing soup

I have just made a big pan of veg soup, (carrot, onion, garlic, swede and parsnip) I have also used tomato puree and the soup mix, lentil, barley etc.
My question is,
will this be ok to freeze, all the veg is fully cooked, I wasn't going to freeze but have had a change of plan. No dairy has been added yet. I just wondered if it would separate when reheated, also I have left the veg chunky.

Yes, soup freezes very well. I freeze all kinds of soups in individual portions and just pull them out the night before I want them. Never had a problem so far.
I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

Just put twelve takeaway boxes of homemade soup into our freezer..

Lunch for the next twelve days.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

The frozen soup can be microwaved straight from the freezer.

Don't you get bored? My 8 boxes last me a good 4 months!

OP - it freezes fine even once you've melted cream, butter, cheese etc to the pot.

Exactly what I was thinking! I freeze a variety of HM ready meals so that I don't have to eat the same thing day after day.

I was even counting on my fingers just to check that ariba wasn't having soup for lunch on Christmas Day!:rotfl:

I have the same breakfast and the same lunch nearly every day (but not Christmas Day).

The evening meal is a different proposition !

I must admit I too tend to have similar breakfasts and lunches usually breakfast is bran flakes with a banana or porridge with a dash of salt or sometimes I may have diced up fruit in plain yogurt.Lunches is usually HM soup plus crackers and cheese with a piece of fruit .Saves a lot of time really as I am always rushing around doing other things. But dinner is different, I like to have something different every night .last night it was two sausages, some new potatoes and some steamed broccoli.Tonight It will be freezer roulette as I am trying to run down my freezer for defrosting.:):):)
