Hello
Does anyone know what lenders disregard student loan/ pension contributions?
Also, do lenders typically lend 3, 3.5 or 4 x your salary? (approximately).\
Cheers.

4-4.5x salary is more the norm, but it will depend on your debts and whether or not you have a football team worth of kids.
A lot of lenders will disregard the pension deduction but none will deduct the student loan income.
You need to check the lenders criteria and affordability calculators really. They can be time consuming but they are publically available.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. thank you.
i have 'no debts' except the student loan (£11000)!
no kids and buying alone.
the pension, student loan and mobile phone, household bills will be my only outgoings.
think i can get around 154000 with the figures i type in. Hope so anyway...Lloyds/ Halifax seem to be better lenders for me..will go see a broker in april i think.
will keep saving in HTB ISA.
