Tesco Cooking Bacon 60p

My local Tesco is selling cooking bacon in packs of 500 gms for 60p, DD gave me a pack yesterday, so tomorrow I shall hopefully buy two more packs for the freezer.I have some making my lentil and bacon soup at the moment and its fine.I have divided the rest up and froze it to use in sarnies and panini's for my dgs during the school holidays.Not as pretty to look at as rashers but tucked into a sarnie etc it will be fine I prefer the cooking bacon as you can cook a nice panful to a crispy turn and use it on absolutely anything 500 gms is over a pound in weight for 60p:eek::eek:

I have been buying this for many months now. I am quite fussy which pack I buy....I like to be able to see the rashers , and also prefer smoked. I haven't ever been disappointed with what I take home. Sometimes I don't buy if it looks too fatty, or is thick chunks. The packaging is see - through so it's easy to be selective. It always tastes great.
