I had some highlights done to blend in a few greys, but I have now decided I don't like the highlights enough to carry on having them. The highlights are light brown rather than blonde.
My hair is naturally brown and what I want to do is dye it a slightly lighter colour than my natural brown so that the greys come up as a lighter colour and the effect isn't too monotone. I bought a dye that looks marginally lighter than my natural colour.
What should I do to make sure the roots are the same as the ends? Should I put the dye on the ends for longer than the roots - would this work?
