It is like a long tray with 3 candles underneath, it would take 3 hours to fry an egg :rotfl:

These are really popular in Germany, often had them when I've been with my partners family (I have something else though because I don't like cheese :rotfl:). The one that they've got is electric though and even then it takes a while to heat the little trays of food up so I can't imagine how long it would take with candles.....

I haven't been comping for almost 2 weeks :eek:

After marching in heavy rain on Remembrance Sunday (son is a Beaver and I'm a "helper") I came down with a really bad cold, couldn't sleep for days as so wheezy whenever I led down then my youngest has been ill again too Just been too sleep deprived to comp.

Finally feeling better though, so getting back to comping hopefully after bedtime tonight

And just to cheer me up, I had a WEM this week, for a Smiggle Advent Calender :T My 10 year old will expect to receive it, but is it bad I want to keep it for myself, I'm such a big kid

Four or five year ago I suffered very badly with panic attacks, so badly I ended up in hospital a few times
Now I take Beta Blockers (chill pills) to control my heart rate and to keep me calm, I am at the stage where I am so chilled I am almost horizontal!! :rotfl:

Folks get themselves into such a state over the Advents and chew themselves up and give themselves more stress at the most stressful time of the year and it is pointless!!

If you comp in your spare time, your not going to get more spare time in December to do the Advents if anything you're going to have less spare time, so something has to give if you want to do the Advents you will have to stop doing FB/TW/Daily Mags/C2Ws?

As I said above I am at the stage that if it doesn't bother me or mine then I don't give a toss :eek:

What gets done gets done what doesn't doesn't, bugga the comping enjoy Christmas and some family time

What about the spending money we won? That will be flying with me to Majorca:rotfl:

(It all depends on your take on the word "flies" - it could just mean something that will be going on a plane, rather than something that flaps it's wings:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: )
