To keep thing simple, 'Something that flies' can relate to anything with wings, or something aviation-related...
Some random examples: A holiday (with flights included - ambitious I know!), A drone toy, an Airfix model kit, a hot air balloon flight, tickets to a butterfly house, a toy x-wing fighter, a Haynes manual about Spitfires or similar (!), RSPB membership, a helicopter flight, a Supergirl DVD, an insect encyclopedia, the latest album by Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, etc.
