So where to begin....
As you know we went away on Monday to the Lakes for a few days, well we got there OK unhitched the caravan got it all squared up and made ourselves a cup of tea, then we put the awning up and went to make a another cuppa, switched on the kettle and tripped the electrics, but we didn't just trip our electrics we tripped the whole area we were parked in electrics. We had to get the owner out to reset the electric box, after tripping the electrics several more times we thought there might be a fault on the fridge so left that off. We had no fridge, no main lights and no pumped water for 4 days
Tuesday was sunshine and showers all day and we had a lovely walk around the shores of Ullswater and pretty quiet day.
Wednesday morning I woke at about 5.30am to an awful smell in the caravan to find out Kite had the diahoojars, but not in just one place it was literally from one end of the caravan to the other, in my hubby's words it was like a mine field.
So I rolls my pj bottoms up above my knees and starts picking up and cleaning and disinfecting the cream (I bet that was a mans idea) carpet. I had a cup of coffee and a couple of jaffa cakes and went back to bed :rotfl:
Wednesday was sunshine and showers again we had a bit of retail therapy and a couple of nice walks, a bottle of red and a Harry Potter film and an early night
Thursday we decided to pay for the nights we had stayed so far and come home, but not before Fizz decided she was going to throw up twice, thankfully outside.
You just couldn't make this chit up, literally!!
I can't beleive it is only another two and a half weeks before we do this all again, hopefully not the electric, chit and puke bits. :rotfl:
I have done bugga all since I got home, so now the house looks like a bomb has hit and my washing pile is higher than me.
Ho hum

I have just had an email telling me I have won a Melobaby Changing wallet.......to be honest I liked the bag the wallet went into so I did not read properly.
My eldest son can definitely make use of this though“I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints.” - Billy Joel

Thank youI don't normally mind doing it, its just the last month or so I seem to be the only one posting comps onto there, so I'm spending so much time looking for the comps that I'm not having enough time to enter myself
I think I'll probably continue to do the thread, but I may change my approach, so that I do my comping first, then update the thread with any remaining time, rather than the other way around.
Also, it doesn't help that its school hols - with 3 kids I don't have as much free comping time as normal:( As much as I love my kids, I'm looking forward to the start of term and having some free time again when they go back to school0 -

Happy Tuesday to you all! Congratulations on all wins and any birthdays.
I have just won 10p with that stupid humming bird - so go me.
Have filled one skip with random stuff from garage and got a second one for garden waste - the joys of the summer holiday!
Caravaning holidays such fun! I remember the sound of the rain on the roof somewhere in Wales and always wet. Cream coloured carpet one of life's biggest mysteries as far as the newt and I are concerned. I mean why would you put something that is going to look dirty all the time on the floor?Rational judgement, now, at this very moment.
Virtuous action, now, at this very moment.
(Wisdom, Courage, Self-control, Justice)
Willing acceptance - now, at this very moment - of what you can’t change0 -

Bugga, I spent ages with the stupid bird yesterday and got very little.
I wanted to be the first to put in HUGE letters I had won 10p :rotfl:
Well done Mrs Bot, don't spend it all at once :T“I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints.” - Billy Joel
