I had same email. On their website they are giving away a free break to the hotel in Kent to everyone, if they attend a video presentation/tour etc.

I've just had the same email too. I had wondered when entering if it would be some sort of timeshare thing.

I had this too, its a timeshare, so I will not be going, also be aware that if you cancel within 7 days of the date, you will be liable for the £145

Think this should be posted as scam (sorry diddlydoop we know your intentions were good) shame they had to jump on the bandwagon of advents to rally up business

i have had this too and posted in IWIWIW because it just looked dodgy , and time share like to me. i think i will also give this amiss as i dont want to be badgered to buy stuff

I also got the same winning email and text - I was super excited to have won my first Advent competition this year after an extremely dry year comping-wise; however having read this thread, I think I will ignore and unsubscribe from their emails. Such a shame (and waste of time!)
