Ipod portable speakers bargain

in It's gone, but was it any good?
Hi

I was looking for some portable speakers for my Apple ipod 1G & came across this site which is selling it for £13.51(inc. delivery). I think this is a bargain.

    Well they would be cheap, wouldn't they? nothing will fit into them very soon.:confused:

    Was just about to buy, but noticed it says for Ipod Nani 1st Generation. Can anyone confirm they will still work with 2nd Gen?

    Amazon site categorically states 1st gen only.

    I have a similar dock speaker station that is made for 1st gen only, I can still use it with my 2nd gen but only after I hacked away part of the plastic :undecided, only 3 mins with a craft knife AND no cut fingers, I exceeded myself :D
