NHS Eyetest

Visited a major high street opticians in July and a slight change of prescription meant new glasses. Eye test was NHS free one, so I obtained some glasses with the NHS voucher. I also bought another 2 pairs on the BOGOF offer, and got some new lenses put in sunglasses.
Now in the past few weeks, I am getting headaches and having to take the glasses off to read things close up or even watch TV.
Will I be able to get another free eye test to see if my prescription has changed again. Optician last time referred me to hospital for Glaucoma checks as pressure was high at back of my eyes, but I got the all clear.

You would need to discuss this with your optician. If he decides a further test is warranted then you won't have to pay.0

If you're having problems they usually do the test again for free.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

I went back after nearly 3 month last time because I couldn't get used to my new prescription. They retested for free and swapped my lenses for free with a slightly different prescription. That was at specsavers.0

You do, with age, find that you need to remove distance glasses to read or use a computer. (I can't be bothered with constant swaps to reading glasses).
I have my tests at Specsavers and though my prescription had changed, slightly, the person who did my test said I need not buy new glasses, unless I actually wanted a change.0
