Very hypocritical to expect an interview panel to be accepting of your age when your narrow-mindedness doesn't allow for the reverse. I worked in a team leader role with people double my age reporting to me, and they initially seemed off about it. When they realised age contributed very little to how capable I was and they saw their own performance improving as a result, there were no problems.
Basically, go in with an open mind. If they're a young manager it's either because they're capable and they've earned it, or because of 'who they know' (much less common).
NB. Keep in mind that millenials in an office environment have only ever know diversity and inclusion as a rule, meaning they're more open to employing based on ability over all else. A 60 year old may be more prone to the culture he were initiated in, which was less forgiving.Started 07/15. Car finance £6951 , Mortgage: 261k - Savings: £0! Home improvements are expensive0 -

+1
Managers can be dolts at any age.
I'd rather work for a twenty something manager who knows what they were doing and were supportive of their team than a 50 something one who was clueless.0
