Okay, if I'm the first to post, I'm obviously not working hard enough, but I loved this blog, Martin - its funny *and* it rings true.

  • You had decided for whatever reason to give up your seat to someone. The producers realising you are the talent & choosing to give your seat to someone else should have quietly got you another seat rather than making a song and dance about it and whispering in your ear.

However if that was the case and you offered out the seat to someone everytime another one was brought to you, the powers that be might invest in a chair for everyone which is probably the best solution, as it would mean the 'talent' would have to be offered something else to make him feel special & cared for, ummmmm Big slice of chocolate fudge cake might work.

  • LOL - this totally reminded me of a tv programme I saw:

(All funny, but try from 16 mins 50 secs onwards for the particular "talent" part :D:D )

Quite fruity on the language btw, so maybe not one for work :o

Martin, hope you're not like this!! ;):p

Do remember we were in a fixed studio setting - so bring in other equipement (eg chairs) wasn't actually possible :)
