LCS Debt w/ Multiple Tenants

I had a look at the CAB, it doesn't really answer my question sadly. I've never seen a bill for this utility or anything in the past 3 years, only the letter I just received. Essentially, I would like to know how I can confirm to whomever necessary that it is not just me responsible for settling the debt, but also the 4 other tenants whom LCS are free to chase as they please.

This letter sounds very vague, probably just fishing. I, personally, wouldn't reply as that opens a line of communication between you and them. Let them stew, see what happens. If you get any more letters, post it up on here.

I'm unsure whether to leave it or not. I know what these companies are like once you start speaking to them - especially after looking at other threads on the forum!

If it helps, we did use the utility (all tenants, for 1 1/2 years, not the three they say) - just seems from their vague letter that LCS want me to pay for all of it!
