Just a quick I have a memory like a sieve
Just got my renewal pack through
Is this the same fee that I originally deferred in 2011 or is it an additional £225 to add to the one I previously deferred until the end
Just trying to work out if there now £450 of fees built up

I'm just applying for a Santander mortgage. They're fee-free at present for those moving to Santander or taking out a new mortgage. So, I suspect it'll be the fee you deferred from 2011. Unless for some reason they charge existing borrowers a fee to take out a new mortgage, which would seem a bit self-defeating.0

Santander starting charging at outset, and 'delaying payment' until redemption as a way of getting round an FSA commandment that they couldn't charge this fee.
The one fee of £225 is normal on your product.I am a Mortgage Broker
