Trowbridge Civic Hall is hosting an evening with boxing legend Sir Henry Cooper on Friday, September 28.
The evening includes a three-course meal, a top comedian, photographs and signings and a memorabilia auction.
Arguably Britain's greatest ever heavyweight boxer, Henry Cooper won 40 of his 55 professional fights and is perhaps best known for the night he nearly changed the course of boxing history,.
On July 19, 1963, he fought the up-and-coming Cassius Clay, later to become Muhammed Ali, and his famous left hook "Henry's Hammer", dumped Clay on the canvas (pictured below) and raising "the biggest cheer in boxing history."
If you are not lucky enough to win, tickets are £50 in advance, or £450 for a table of ten. For more details and to book tickets, call 07971 730231.
