Notice and holiday

I have to give four weeks notice to end my employment, which I'm planning to do tomorrow 28th November. I already have holiday booked for the whole final week of this period. My contract states that, should I hand in my notice, my holiday entitlement for the year will be based on the number of full months I have worked - so I will have worked four weeks of November without accruing any holiday entitlement for it - and hence may not be able to take as leave the holiday I already have booked. Seems a bit unfair! Do I have any right to take any pre-booked holiday above my entitlement as unpaid leave, or is this up to the good will of my employer? Four weeks from tomorrow will be a bank holiday that I am not rota'd to be on duty - will having a bank holiday as my last day of employment cause any issues?

Your contract can say what it wants, you are entitled to holiday for every hour you work. The only time a contract can dictate the amount of holiday is when they offer more than the stat min of 5.6 weeks.
