"Behavioural" Interview

I have an interview on Tuesday and have been told it will be a behavioral interview followed by a written scenario test. Anyone got any idea as to what to expect?
I was made redundant in August and at my last interview a few weeks ago I got into a bit of a panic and was sweating profusely and looked a right state. I am just worried I will end up the same at this one. Not knowing what to expect is worrying me a little!

Did you google it? If you just type in behavioral interview google comes up with example questions and scenarios.
Written scenario test will be related to job. So for myself as a PA it might be organizing a meeting or travel planning.
Again google it and your job and you should get ideas.
I think it's normal to be well prepared for interviews. Google is your friend in this case, not this forum. Google the company, know latest new releases, what the share price is and has been, activities with local area etc. Then google the job, interview questions, scenarios. Trial the route, know how long of takes.
Good luck.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
Thanks, just wading through a few sites now with loads of these sorts of questions, it's not putting my mind at ease but at least gives me an idea.
I know all about the company, had a drive out there yesterday to know exactly where I was going, just as well I did as the campus it is on is huge and it took me a full 30 minutes to find the exact block I have to report to.0 -
Does the companies website say anywhere what behaviours/values they expect of their staff? A lot do. If so think about examples from your professional life where you've demonstrated them and have some good stories ready for the interview.
Good luck!“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -
Looking at the pretty detailed job spec I have from them it details 4 behaviours on that, 3 of which they asked me for examples of in the application, I assume those are the behaviours they will focus on in the interview?0

Why would they not focus on the 4th, which you have yet to demonstrate? If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

Sorry, I meant will they focus on all 4 behaviours that are listed on the job spec or will there be others in the interview?0 -
Likely that they will focus on the 4 listed in the job spec. I would certainly have an example of the one not requested on the application form.0
