It's unbelievable the amount of scams out there.

Hope you have better luck in the future.

    Best wishes.

I'm sorry to hear that Stacey, so many scams out there, especially around Christmas time, I try not to count a win until I receive it, but I can understand your disappointment, I would be upset as well.

Can I ask how you were scammed on Gumtree? As you usually collect and hand over money at the time of collection. Or if you are paying first, PayPal are usually fantastic at letting you claim your money back.
Obviously you don't have to answer the question as it is personal to you, just don't want to be put in the same situation.

I would definitely try and keep chasing my wins though. Especially if you had previously been in contact with them before.

Let's hope your prizes eventually turn up and that you have a fantastic Christmas and win something better soon, big hugs. I'm sure your kids will have a fabulous Christmas no matter what they get.
Thank you to everyone who posts competitions and good luck to everyone who enters.

Thanks for posting, I always try and pay via PayPal, Goods and Services when buying online.

Although so many people in a wedding forum on Facebook pay via friends and family and hundreds have recently been scammed. Some disgusting and even desperate people in this world.

I really hope you get your money back Stacey, best of luck!
