Best place to sell / trade in Xbox?

Hello everyone,
as the title says, where is the best place to sell or trade in an Xbox 360 and an Xbox One plus accessories and games?
My son has decided to migrate to the PS4 as all of his friends use that console.
I would like to get the best return I can on the Xboxes as they are both fairly new.

Theres Game, Cex, a local facebook selling group and ebay, maybe add gumtree too.

I was offered £95 at Game for a black Xbox One.

You might have to be realistic with what you could get for the 360.

How old is the Xbox 360 ?

Maybe sell both as a bundle on ebay/local facebook selling group.

I take it both consoles aren't banned and both in good condition ?

GAME will beat the price of CEX but not by default.


CEX were offering £101 for a Xbox One 500GB in black, so I took mine to GAME. They said "oh its worth £76 according to our system here", so I reminded them they would beat CEX quotes, and they came back with £105.

probably ebay will get best return but you have to ship it and wait for the auction etc.


I recently sold an old spare xbox 4gb 360 with no games controllers or even a power supply for £30. so people are still buying them

Thanks for all the info. I will go for a mix of CEX, Game and there might be the possibility of a private sale of some of the games.

I would suggest trying out Gazelle.com or Usell.com. Both of them can buy your used consoles but you may not get the best price.

A slight flaw in your idea there, them 2 sites are american only and not much use for the OP.

The site is UK based if you havent noticed.

I have the old halo xbox 360 that I would like to sell but Game wont take it as I don't have the 2 original halo controllers (only 1) even though I have the box and 2 replacement controllers, from what I have read about I'm guessing its best to probably stick it on Ebay?
