Just checked on amazon.co.uk because I only got one of the three items I was expecting. All were listed as delivered, so I checked the property just to see if anything had been delivered. Then I spotted it... hidden in the container we use for glass recycling. The one that's next to the bins. In a line with all the other waste receptacles. And manky from all the stuff that gets put in it.
No note, no indication it was there.
Checked parcel. Royal Mail "Tracked No Signature".
What's the point of tracking stuff if you just lob it and leg it?
