The AA Loans - Help
Hi All
I'm new to this forum and some of the info I've already stumbled upon has helped me out but I'm looking for a bit of advice....
I applied for a loan via the AA website on Thur 3rd Nov. I was approved in principle instantly. They sent me a letter on 7th Nov requesting documentation (wage slips) along with the loan agreement. Which I returned by Thur 10th. I called to check they had received my docs on Mon 14th which they had and returned to me. I was told I would have the final decision within 2 to 5 days. If I hadn't heard anything to call back at the end of the week which I done, still no decision. I called again on Mon, still no update and was told to call back yesterday.... and again still no update or decision. I'm beginning to worry.....
I have been in my job for 5 years, at my current address for 12+ years and an excellent credit score on 998 on my credit report.
Has anyone had a similar experience? I've had no explanation as to what is causing this delay, just kept being told to call back. Needless to say I'm worried they may refuse the loan for whatever reason and that will affect my credit score. Any advice would be much appreciated.

With the AA, yes, many will have had that experience.
Ignore your credit score. Whatever the result, the application will only appear as a search on your file. Not the end of the world.0 -
My other half took a loan out with AA Loans about 5-6 months ago. AA Loans is the broker the lender i believe is Bank of Ireland.
I have to say application process was very straightforward and loan funds deposited quickly.0
