HELP! Dmp and car repair headache!!

Hi I started a dmp last month and first payment went through fine and everyone seems to be happy with payments 😃 However the car has gone bang and needs 2/300 quids worth of repairs as I'm only in the 2nd month of my dmp my emergency fund isn't there yet. I'm panicking I don't know what to do?! I can't afford the car payments without something going unpaid. I don't want to annoy my creditors this early into my dmp. Any help would be great!

Stepchange don't dictate what you must pay, A DMP means you are in control, you would need to talk to them to let them know the issue and to arrange the reduced payment, but its not up to them to say whether you can or can't, they get what you can afford0 -
Just call Stepchange and tell them whats happened- next month make a reduced payment and then pick up the month after- its simple.0
