IPA and child on the way

Me and my girlfriend are expecting our first child on Xmas day. I was made bankrupt in February 2015 and I'm about 18 months into my £107 a month IPA. If I ring the official reciever to inform them of future changes does anybody know what I should expect to happen? Many thanks

When the child is born you then inform the OR of a change in circumstances and submit a new SoA with any changes.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

This happened to me. My IPA was suspended on submission of new SOA, it was then restarted when I received a pay rise and submitted a further SOA. They even congratulated me on my news 0

Hi Burtie
I would echo the above replies - it's in your interests to notify the OR of these changes so that any IPA can be adjusted to reflect them. All the best for the remainder of the pregnancy and beyond.

Congratulations in advance of the new arrival, have a sibling born on Christmas Day and they always felt hard done by when younger. A catholic family did not help I suppose!
Not for me to promote such an activity, but with your girlfriend imminently due and at home all day, the extra use of utilities will have increased the bills to a level that your IPA is wiped out, surely? It is a cold and gloomy time of the year, heating all day and lights needed most of the time.0
