With inflation set to rise, tying up money in a 3 year bond at only 2.2% interest rate may not be a particularly good deal.

  • A few months ago they had a mention of a deal where for every £400 you save the government give you £100 back with a max of £4,000 a year haven't heard anything since it was for between 16-75 year olds I think.
    CC - £2,555
    Paypal CC - £400
    Overdraft - £100
    Loan - £8,040

Thanks i'm considering a simple solution to save from 2017 until 2019.

Hven't found the time to look elsewhere.

Either save or consider home loan route 2019- yes it will be home improvements required which I cannot arrange without a reasonable sum.

1-non double glazed window requires brand new d/glazed window in kitchen.

Looking ahead towards 2019- most expensive cost, arrange removal old school storage heater from hall, replace hall and bedroom heating with modern electric heaters i.e. Dimplex or similar which I have might some control over temp in home.

Remove and replace internal wood/glass panel doors with new wood/glass panel doors.

Consider replacing front wooden door with brand new upvc or similar door inc' glass panel.

1 bedroom flat (No Gas) which deserves the required investment.
