Anyone bought these?

First one didnt go green after 48 house. Same with 2nd one. I have plugged it into computer and as recommended, back of X box. Is it just a duff batch/ What can I be doing wrong !?
If I just plug the leads into the batteries, only one glows red. If I out one battery into contoller (and one not), the the controller battery is dull red, and the other bright red.
