Universal Credit help

I started a Christmas job earlier this month, and I notified Universal Credit about it, but I was working less than 20hrs a week. Now it's going to start going up to more than 30hrs and increasing even more towards the end of the job. Do I need to notify Universal Credit about it? I don't want to get into trouble with my Universal Credit claim.

Yes you need to inform UC of any change of circumstances, whether that be working hours or anything else which might affect the amount you are entitled to receive from them.
Unlike JSA and other benefits, a UC claim isn't closed when entitlement ceases. It sits in the background so that, as in your case, when working hours reduce again after Christmas the change is seamless. (That's the theory at least)

Thanks. My advisor at the Jobcentre just said to ring the number if I couldn't make my next appointment, but I don't remember whether she said to ring them when I started working more hours. It's just I'm starting to work more than 30 hours from this week until the end of it, and I just wanted to be sure. Thank you though
