has anyone used financial agreement solutions limited to try and see if a credit agreement is unenforceable and got money back? they keep asking for money upfront before they go ahead, not to sure to trust them????

Seriously, you can do it yourself for £1. An agreement is called statue barred when its over six years old. However, if a creditor cannot prove that you owe the money, and it is less than six years old I am pretty sure you don't have to pay it. The onus is on them to prove you owe the money.
There are template letter that you can write to ask if they have the proof that you owe. Under the CCA (Consumer Credit Act) you have the right to receive proof, for a *administration* fee of £1. You need to send the letter registered post and they have a set amount of time in which to let you know.
This company are trying to provide a service, but I bet they charge a whole lot more than £1! If they are providing it for 50p tho, let us know! :rotfl:

any scheme to pay money upfront is likely to result in you losing money.. as all your credit agreements may be enforceable, it depends on the situation with each.. I wouldn't touch them with a very long barge-pole....Indecision is the key to flexibility
