NotEvanAPot wrote: »The finer points have already been covered, but legal action for harassment? If the opening of 4 envelopes causes such emotional distress that your second thought is compensation, I do not think you are ready to exist in the big bad world we live in. I am sure the Daily Mail will disagree with me, so perhaps enquire if they will fund your legal expenses...
The cost to have an incorrectly granted CCJ set aside would also be recoverable from the original claimant, to clarify a statement above.
You have obviously never lost a business and gone bankrupt and lost your world, so opening 4 envelopes is considerably more than your simplistic and rather childish outlook affords in the real world. I remember getting told a few years ago, get the big boy pants on to fly in choppers to and from my work, a similar sort of outlook to your mindset, abuse/bully the person and try to make fun, then I lost 4 work colleagues on said chopper when it crashed.
The Daily Mail would disagree as they are well aware of the affect of wrongful claims such as this and the mental stress it places on many people. As are doctors. I can't really include myself in that but seeing as they like playing the game, I too am not adverse to said game. In fact, I rather enjoy it.
Thank you however for clarifying the other points. :T0 -

You claim you have received written communication on a debt, from a third party, based on an agreement included in your bankruptcy?
You illegally attempted to defraud the public purse, a private company and other creditors potentially by claiming missold PPI?
Yet you take umbrage at being called out when wanting advice on seeking recompense for emotional distress upon receiving letters through the post?
I believe you may need to search elsewhere for individuals that will offer a shoulder upon which to shed a tear. This is a forum filled with people who have gone through the turmoil of bankruptcy (including myself) who are here to offer genuine advice and support, as you have received for your first thought. You will not receive encouragement for committing offences or falsely feeling the victim of injustice.0 -
You never heard of placing PPI against your debts to reduce their claims? It is not illegal to claim PPI as you would suggest. But trolls do tend to work on a narrow minded stereo type right enough.
Lifted from citizens advice for your information, see if you can get your tiny brain cells around the reality. Once you learn the common law definitions and understand the concept of criminal, pop on back and update me, thankfully I studied it:
QUOTE-
If you've already made a claim about a mis-sold PPI policy, you must tell the official receiver or trustee of the claim. You also have to tell the company you're claiming against about your bankruptcy.

You are the typical sad !!!!!! that truly needs to get out more, go buy yourself some mates and try beer for the first time, ITS FUN! Word of advice though, don't approach strangers and start accusing them, you will find A and E aint that pleasant. More to life than hiding behind a monitor abusing and attacking people you would be scared to even say boo to face to face.

If you're claiming PPI against any of the debts incorporated into your bankruptcy, that now belonds to the OR. By you claiming for it yourself, you may well be pursued by the Insolvency Service for the money, regardless of whether you are discharged or not.0 -
Before your response, perhaps you should have considered the period of your bankruptcy and when PPI became a gravy train upon which to hitch. You should then review the Fraud Act 2006 and consider some of the statements you would legally have had to make when attempting to reclaim a missold PPI policy.
Those with a legal background do not tend to draw their defence evidence from public advice, as you will obviously know from your studies, you would support your position using a relevant legislative act. Of course, had you carried out such study, you would be familiar with the condition of a country being a common law state or relying upon statute passed by parliamentary act, but it would appear that you were out sampling beer and making acquaintances on that particular day.
Happy to meet in person to discuss, if you send a private message I will provide a home address for you to visit. We can discuss your legal education, understanding of criminal and civil law and how such offences crossover, your anger issues and the common need for those in possession of lower level communicative skills to resort to profanity or threats.0 -

Christ talk about attention seeking.
As for harassment do me a favour. Could always go and cry into a pillow. Then take a deep breath and try and move on, difficult as it may be.0
