Debt ~Repayment Advice

Hi
Ive been repaying a creditors for years now on old debts. I was just wondering if anyone had ever offered a final settlement to Debtors? If so what kind of of percentage did you finally agree on 25% 50% of the out standing debt.
I really want this finished now and with it being close to an affordable amount (if i can get a good percentage rate) i can pay it off in months rather than years.
