If you firkle in the middle of them you can see where the cord is wrapped round. Just wrap another piece of string around in the same place, pull tight and knot it, before you use it.

    I love skip diving.
    :D
  • I use Body Shop ones as well. The only ones I have found that don't fall apart quickly
What goes around comes around.....I hope!
  • I agree with all who said body shop. None of my body shop ones ever fell apart. I have ones that are years old and still going strong, although i use them to clean the shower now, not me!

On ebay you find some decent one that are cheap. Personally I better like bathing gloves :)

Okay... Do you not believe anything in the peer-reviewed Journal of Clinical Microbiology?

I can't find the article mentioned in the Sun, but here's an older on concerning loofahs. I imagine the arguments and evidence are fairly similar.

Thing is though, even if they do breed bacteria, I understand that in the modern world, the extent to which we try and eliminate all bacteria etc is actually mean we build no natural resistance.

I think because we can find out all this stuff now with our fab science technologies it makes you more aware of such things and as such a bit overly concerned.

Found a Body Shop gift bag in a charity shop today for £3, which included a scrunchie, a quite large heart-shaped soap, a pot of lip balm, a 60ml bottle of bath & shower gel and same size bottle of body lotion. All packaging still sealed, so quite a bargain, considering the scrunchies are £2 each on their own :T .
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D
