Lidl Processed Cheese Slices with Emmental

in Gone off!
I do not shop that often in Lidl, but when I do, I always buy a couple of packs of their Tenery Processed Cheese Slices with Emmental. These are the ones that are in a plastic bubble and are not individually wrapped (they do a Gouda version too). They are not exactly healthy eating but they remind me of the ones I used have as a kid in the 70's!
Has anyone seen these in their Lidl recently? On my last two visits they have not been on the shelf. Have they stopped selling these or is it just my Lidl?

Bit off topic, but has anyone seen Dulano Bratwurst lately? These also seem to have disappeared from my local stores.0

I used to love them too MichelleUK, last I saw them they were reduced to 29p and I bought them all. I asked if they were expecting any more stock as that was a great price but unfortunately they said it was that cheap because it was being discontinued. They were surprised anyone was buying it as it was such as poor seller that it usually got binned, even when it was reduced! This would have probably been just before last Christmas I think.0

Yesterday I bought a 350g pack of sliced Emmental from LIDL (wrapped as one piece, not individually). Cost was £1.59, cheaper than the unsliced version sitting next to it.
Brand name is Milbona and it's in a yellow/clear packet.0 -

That is a shame! They taste so much nicer than the individually wrapped slices. Oh well, there were not exactly healthy :rotfl:0 -

I did buy a pack of that one and it is proper cheese, rather than processed, but still very nice!0 -

Yes the proper cheese (not plastic cheese) slices of Emmental/Masdam etc is great! In Aldi they are even cheaper ranging from 99p-£1.29PK! :money:0 -

To be fair, all cheeses are processed, because in order to turn milk into cheese, it has to go through several processes. The question is how many processes and how many "extras" are added along the way.
Mozzarella is probably the cheese with fewest processes.0 -
