Christmas presents suitable for sending abroad

Hi there,
I'm struggling to think of suitable presents to send to the children of some friends who live abroad. They have to be quite light as they need to be sent by airmail to Canada and South Africa.
Any ideas? For the past few years we've sent pretty dresses (both children are girls and both 2yrs old!), but I don't want it to get boring. "Oh, ANOTHER dress from Auntie Vicky and Mr VickyA".
Please help!
Vicky
PS Any ideas for their parents too?!

What about subscriptions to a British comic each? No postage, wrapping etc but lots of excitement for the children each time the comics arrive.0

Thanks. I'll look into it.

When my brother lived in Kentucky I used to buy online off American websites and pay only local postage. Amazon.com sell almost everything, and will gift wrap your order.0
