want to change mortgages

hi there i am coming to the end of my mortgage deal in november which means i can now look around for a better deal as the price i am paying is well over the top,anyway i have missed a few payments on my mortgage but have always brought them back up to date,what i would like to know is will other lenders let me remortgage with missed payments on my file i really hope so becouse the reason i missed some payments is becouse the payments are really steep at the mo,thanks in advance for any advise,michelle.
