Pretty handy web page for anyone thinking about getting a buy to let. Still looks like it's worth it yield wide if you're on an average income ....

I did what you said about going to google and typing in FT buy to let calculator - and I got to see/use it.
I've no idea what it all meant though, to be honest.
Whoosh it went.... right over my head.
But the question was whether others could reach it; people without subs to FT - and the answer is "Yes, people without an FT sub can see that calculator"0 -

On the last property I looked at it says i would earn 6% pa...ignoring all costs including that there may be a cost to my 200k investment and the 18k stamp duty payable upfront....

It does make it clear that it's not taking into consideration other costs (taxable or not).
